Graphic Communication

My method is based on visualising information to create a medium of communication that transmits a specific narrative and has its own, conditional character. Therefore, I am formulating the narrative and the relation to its audience. I am working precisely on visual details for this specific relation to create a strong image in the audience’s minds.

My work includes editorial design, visual identities, printed matter, exhibition graphics and micro-websites.

Photography

In my photographic research, I am creating a variety of fragments of the medialised public, that I bring into image-based installations. These are playing with their own subject through precise framing, large-format reproduction and the visual distance from their originating habitat. The images are living within the uncertainty of real, unreal or hyperreal and consequently those terminologies own truths and definitions.

Exhibitions and Spatial Communication

My practice in exhibition making is defined through my background in photography and profits from a multi-disciplinary, integrated approach. I bring a curatorial practice together with communicative aspects of my design practice. The latter are especially applied in designing spatial installations.
