City Center
This work documents and examines a public space in stillstand, that once satisfied the human’s needs of leisure and consumption. The space seems to be forgotten but in its emptiness life signs occur occasionally however. The presented work, being a stocktaking, shows a societal change by simultaneaously putting the past and the today’s on display and uncovering their distinctions. The series was presented on a backlit textile display used in Retail design and thus becoming a sculpture that refers to a means of modern consumer worlds.
